Pastor David is a Newport News native with a long history of service in the church. He spent his childhood in the AV booth and playing guitar at a small church in Newport News. After he married his wife Shannon in 2004, they began an apprenticeship in ministry. In 2006, they packed up and moved to New York State to finish his degree in Computer Science and begin his career in Information Technology. They connected with a local church there and began serving in kids ministry. After starting a family, they felt the call to return home to Virginia. They have called the Hampton Roads and Tidewater area home ever since. David has also served on the worship team, in nursery, on the pastor's council; and has led communications, missions, food pantry, discipleship, and young adults ministries. He is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God, based in Cleveland, TN.
David & Shannon currently reside in Smithfield with their four children: Ana, Liam, Lillian, and Carolyn, their two dogs; Pepper and Vienna, two cats; Ichabod and Clawdia, and two parakeets; Mulley and Sculder. He loves reading, traveling and spending time with his family playing games.
